Chartered Institute of Marketing Talks
Later this year Patrick is to give three talks to the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He will be talking on the subject of social marketing and how getting the right messages to the public can help people improve their lives.
Patrick has extensive experience of public sector work including education, crime prevention and health. He has just completed a major project with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) aimed at helping people from low income groups to improve their health and this will be the focus of his talks.
He said, “Marketing techniques have a role to play in helping people take control of their lives and make positive decisions about their future. The work with the NHS was hugely successful and it’s great to have the chance to share my experience with marketing professionals.”
Patrick will speak at Bournemouth on 12 October, Bristol on 20 October and Exeter on 25 November.
